Well, the long weekend is finally upon us. It’s Memorial Day weekend, which means B-B-Q, Beer, Sales, and Music. I’ve always been a fan of this weekend, because I love to grill steaks outside while drinking beer by the pool. What’s better that adding music to make everything as sweet as can be? Let’s trout out some of the CD’s you should have in rotation to make your barbecue extra spicy this weekend. Don’t forget, have plenty of bikini clad ladies around. You can never go wrong with bikini clad ladies. Am I right?
(Toph’s Note: With some friendly advice from Ray, I have linked to where you can purchase the CD’s. Just click the album. Or go to iTunes. Love.)
Arctic Monkeys – I realize that this CD has been out for a while, but that doesn’t make it less fun, and it doesn’t make people like it less. If they do, then tell them to fuck off and make their own steak at home. Well, unless they brought the bikini girls. Then suck up to them, and ask what they want to listen to. Be sure to download “I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor,” I still rock out when I hear that song.
– Gym Class Heroes - They have exploded onto the music scene with the release of this album, and I dig them. They’re hip-hop mixed with good times. Their CD will turn any party into a dance party with chicks in bikinis. The Queen and I is such a good song. Turn it on, flip the steaks, down the beer, and grab a cutie, because you’ll be dancing. There’s a lot of little interludes, where they talk to much, so download it from iTunes, and cut that shit out. It will drag your party down, and you don’t want that.
– Social Distortion – Let’s jump back 17 years to when this album came out. My god, that makes me feel old, and I’m only 25. Well, 26 next week, but still. Everything about this CD says make that friggin party happen, dude. I say dude because I say dude, and we’re going to back to 1990. Story of My Life, Ball and Chain, and Ring of Fire, are all still in constant iPod rotation for me. Can you believe when this CD came out there were no such things as iPods. Whoa… we had Walkman’s though. I miss my Walkman.
– Fergie – Because what’s a party without Fergie-Ferg? I mean, really? Hit it Fergie. Besides, the ladies love moving their humps to Fergie. You’ll watching. Remember… they’re in bikinis.
– Bea – If you don’t know Bea, you should. She is one of the most amazing artist I have ever had the privilege of living with. Her music is funky, fresh and the ladies love her. She is perfect for poolside barbecues, and jammin’ the night away. Check out #5705, Hooker, and I Don’t Want Your MotherFucking Man.” Word on the streets is that she put out a new CD, but I’m still looking for mine. AHEM!
I believe in you guys.
